quickly established itself as San Francisco’s leading supplier of
British grocery products. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, owner
David Kidd (pictured right) moved to the States in 2001. He spent
two years living in New York and moved to San Francisco in 2003.
Soon after arriving, he decided there was a need for a full-service
British grocery, and has worked to recreate the ambiance and
feel of a traditional English shop. David welcomes his customers –
Brits and Anglophiles alike – and treats everyone like they’ve
walked into his home. Whether people walk in and see their old
favorites or aren't familiar with the products, David is always
happy to offer suggestions and advice.
